Mental Day

Today I took a mental day. The first one in a very long time. I hardly ever get sick...but I sure can get crazy! Last week was a bad one and I am in no particular hurry to get back. Tomorrow I may take another one! On the plus side this weekend was a good and busy one. Kind of anyway. A friend of ours had their annual get together and I got to meet his new woman. I like her. She doesn't put up with anything and calls it like she sees it too. I like women like that. You always know where you stand! She didn't particularly care for two people that I despise anyway. So that was icing on the cake. You can't ever win them all. For some reason my brother in law needs to be the center of attention. If he isn't he will start calling people out so that he makes himself the center of attention. Saturday he must have been feeling neglected. He started insulting me. It started with him picking on my hands. I just told him "you know, God gives everyone gifts in different proportions. I am perfectly happy with having ugly hands instead of an ugly ass face." Then he wanted to know what I was trying to say. HA!
